Not hearing an Incoming text for motorola droid while in a call

I have searched around for a way to have my phone notify me when a text comes in while I'm in a call. it will vibrate BUT I use a bluetooth, and my last phone (ENV2) would beep in my ear while I was on the phone. I want to know if anyone else has had this problem and if there's a setting or a way to fix this!!!!
