Not getting 3G

I can't seem to get 3G access today. I've gotten it in the office before and in the area outside, but getting nothing today. Any suggestions?  In Menu, Settings, Wireless & Networks, Mobile Network is checked and it says "Turning on...." but its been that way all day.

Turned phone off and back on and 3G is back. Realize I didn't even have the grayed out 3G symbol at the top of my screen.
