They give the Droid X good marks (with a good test) for the speaker phone volume. Perhaps, like problems with the screens flickering and producing vertical bands/lines, some "batches" of the Droid X are just bad with problems. Perhaps this is the case with the alleged low volume/speaker problem; some batches or units have it and some do not. Please forgive my shameless pleading, but if you are experiencing low volume/speaker problems, especially with the speakerphone, please consider checking out my post on the matter and following the simple steps described in the post. Please also consider reporting any consistent experience of low volume/speaker problems in replies to that post. Here is a link to it in case you are interested:
