I have no idea what your Verizon rep meant. As far as I know, the only two ways to set up your telephone number is either having a Verizon rep do it, or going on the net to the Verizon site, your account, and activating your phone and getting your telephone number set up. Once your phone is activated, you can set up your Google account. Once that's set up you can download all your contacts...telephone, Facebook, Tweeter, etc.

So, my question is, has your phone been activated? It appears that it has. If so, it should have a telphone number attached to it. Easy enough to find. Tap on the menu key (the far left key), tap on Settings, scroll down to "About Phone," and tap on it. Tap on "Status" and your phone number should be listed under "My phone number."

Have fun with your Droid.

Ooops! I thought you were looking for your phone number. What you want to do is get your contact phone numbers on your phone. Okay, first the bad news. There is no way to get rid of your FB contacts without getting rid of FB. As for transfering your phone number with Google, just synchronize your phone and your Google account. This should be automatic. The thing is, are all your contacts listed with Google? It can only synch what it has. If you have contacts with another Email server, they should be transferred to Google. Tap on the apps "Help Center". This will give you a slew of information, including an abbreviated User's Guide. You can also go to the Motorola site and download the User's Guide from them.
