New SD Card

My phone is not seeing my SD card.

When I go into:

-Settings

    -SD card & phone storage

Both the mount SD card and Format SD card are not selectable.

Could be a bad sd card. Could be that the reader in your phone is bad.
Do you have any other devices that you can try the sd card in?
Is this the only sd card that you've tried in the phone? Do you have another that you can try?

You can insert your SD Card into your phone. You will then connect your phone to your computer with your USB Cable. On your computer, your SD Card will appear which you can right click and select Properties then Format SD Card.
