I am trying to cinfigure on Droid X to send / receive email. Receive works fine. Send does not. Need to be able to use TLS as the connection type. I can do this wiht no problems on my first edition Droid. But, the Droid X does not seem to have that option. I have tried just putting in port 587 with and without secure connection checking - but it doesn't work.
Does the Droid X support TLS?
The only way to use the TLS will be through an application in the android market. K9-Mail and MailDroid both are able to support this. The stock email client is unable to send through TLS. Also keep in mind all applications are from third party developers and are download at your own risk.
