Im looking for the application that allows you to change the notification sounds for different contacts. I know how to do the ringtones but not for emails or text messages or any other notifications I recieve.

For text messages I like to use the app called Ringo Lite. Works great. You can assign pacific contacts a text ringtone or just assign a text ringtone in general. There is the app called Tone Picker- MP3 Ringtones. Do a search in the market for ringtone email & it'll come up. That app basically lets you set a ringtone for text messages, instant messages and email.
