If I touch the Contact icon I get a list of contacts, if I touch the telephone icon, I get a list of contacts. If I touch the Text icon, I can search for a contact. Unfortunately there seems to be quite a variance between the lists with some contacts missing from each list. Why is this and how to I make all the contat lists the same?
Wow! I see why that would be confusing. It is possible some contacts synced through backup assistant and some through Google. If you click on the icon of the person on your home screen, press the menu button, select Display Group, make sure it is set to all. When you search for contacts in sms, it will bring up facebook contacts if you have those synced also. For the contacts that aren't showing up, are these new contacts, or how were they transferred to the phone?
THis is very similar to the problem that i have. AND to make it all even more confusing , none of it backs up predictably
