Multimedia Charging Cradle XT #MOTDRDDOCK

This is suppose to work with a DROID 2 w/hard cover and Extended batteries, without having to take off.  Does anyone know if it will work with the Body Glove cover?    How about the older, cheaper one, the Multimedia Charging Station #MOTA855DOCK?  Thank you.
