Did you make sure the phone is set for USB mass storage?

I found at least two ways to do this but the following seems to work:  (I have Windows 7 -  64bit and there have been problems with connecting to the Droid2)

1)   connect phone to computer with usb cable.

2)   on Droid2 pull down usb connection menu, choose

usb mass storage then select OK

3)   go to settings on the Droid2, choose applications, choose

development, check usb debugging, choose OK for allow usb

               debugging.

4)   on your computer, go to start, go to computer and look for the

drive for your device (mine is H and Fat32)

Pictures should be on DCIM, documents, etc will be there.  When you are done working with files, right click on the removable disk drive and choose eject and you will see it close.  Uncheck debugging.  I go back to usb connection menu and choose charge only.  Then I disconnect the phone from the computer.  I have never gotten a mount or unmount option.

There is also VCast Media Manager.

Try these steps to mount the SD card using Media Link.

Tap on the settings button. In the SD Card setting, Pull down the USB connection menu. This should bring you to an “Outgoing” menu. Tap and open the USB connected menu which will bring you to a USB connected options menu. It will say “You have connected your phone to your computer". Click on mount. This will mount your phone to the Motorola Media Link.

I do not get "outgoing" menu.  On my Droid2, when I go to Settings, SD Card & Phone Storage and do the USB pulldown I get the "USB connection" menu????  (PC Mode, Windows, USB Mass Stor., or Charge Only.)

I have "Media Share"  which uses Windows Media Share(?) but it does not do what you show above.  I cannot find "Media Link"?????

Thanks for the help, please send any other ideas.  What you said sounds familiar with my old Droid1 which had "mount" and "unmount.
