You can't send the same text to multiple people without knowing the first few letters of that person's name.
How insane is this even Metro Pcs allows you to views ur contacts then click on the many names u want and then send the same text to at least 10 people.
This fancy phone that I have doesn't allow me to view my contacts then send a text to multiple folks without knowing these peoples name.
I work with many Dr's and I can't remember half these guys name so my past phones like my Blackberry allowed me to view my entire Contacts and then send a text to whom ever I chose. I mean this is basic Abc on any phone but my Droid doesn't have this Abc function ???
Wowwwwww

I agree..........TOTALLY UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!! I have spent X amount of time every day for the last week(how long I've had this "smart phone") try'n to figure out how I could be so stupid!! I understood that learning a new OS was going to involve somewhat of a learning curve but to have wasted so much time trying to do something so elementary as picking multiple contacts really {word filter avoidance} me off!!! I told my Lady last night that I wanted my old Voyager back and she laughed her {word filter avoidance} off and said, "no way!!). By the way, I'm not totally "tech illiterate". I have installed, and used, several apps and virus software. ............RobinAustin

I couldn't imagine trying to use the Droid for business e-mail purposes. I had it for a week & a half... returned and went back to my old phone.
My reasoning for the return was because of talking issues, but I was extremely frustrated with the alerts feature. It either woke me up in the middle of the night, or didn't notify me at all when I had new messages. When I knew I had messages, I had to go thru all sorts of hoops to figure out what kind of message... text, email, notification, etc.
