Junk text messages

Anyone know a good app that'll block unwanted text messages? I have callblock but apparently it doesn't do texts. Thanks

Give SMS Guard a try, its free on the market.  I used it in the past and it worked but I didnt use it long enough to say how well..

Thanks, Wildman & Geri O.   Last week I got a text message that was spam.  I guess I've been lucky but it's the first one I've gotten.  The number was from a bogus area code.  I will check out the apps you both suggested.  It seems to me it should be easy to receive text messages only from contacts but I can't figure out how to do that.  Thanks for your help.  Gator

That would be a handy option to have, but I've never known that to be available.

Call Blocker Elite claimed to have a feature like this but I never got it to work correctly but they just realeased a update and I may give it another try....

There is a beta version of Call Blocker Gold on the market that reports to have redefined this option, you can download 14 Dau trial from the market. I dont block text but the phone number blocking seem to be working so far..
