I too upgraded to 2.2 and had many issues.. mp3's not playing... text messages acting weird... my phone screens lagging etc... I did some research on AndroidCentral.com and found out it wasn't my phone.... just some settings that needed to be changed... following the steps in the link below has my Droid X running on 2.2 as if I just bought it.... I recommend following the steps in the link to have your Droid X running good as new.... Sure glad I followed the steps...
