Home Screen Button Not Working

l love my DROID, but this morning I discovered that the Home Screen Button is not working...this is strange, and has never happened before.  The Back arrow still works, but it's kind of annoying to keep hitting the back arrow instead of having the Home Screen Button.

Is this something that can be changed through the settings button?  I noticed that the phone had been going through some menus while in my pocket; I wonder if the touch screen was active and the settings were altered by accident?...

Ok, so I read some other postings for other Android phones, and solved my problem.  I just did a reset of the phone and the Home Screen Button is working again.  So if anyone else is having problems with their main buttons, that may help you as well.
