I recently got a Motorola Droid and I've been uploading .jpg pictures to it, but it's becoming difficult because after I upload the picture the Droid will view it incorrectly and change the picture. Here's an example of what it's doing...
Picture before I upload it to Droid...

Picture the way Droid is viewing it...

...also Droid is doing this the album art of MP3s too. I'll play a MP3 and the album art will look all distorted, with different pixelated colors, etc. Any ideas or help please?

have you tried a factory reset. you might think it's too soon to do one, but there have been post after post of people saying that the problem was fixed by resetting.
it hurts nothing to do so. if it repeats itself, i would suggest exchanging your droid.

Nevermind, I just Google'd it. Settings > Privacy > Factory Data Reset, I'll tell you if it works.

Well, as far as I can tell that didn't do a thing. I'll be taking into Verizon this week to speak with them about it to see if they know what the problem is weather it's hardware or software and to see if possibly exchanging it would fix the problem. So far that's theo nly problem I've had with the phone.

cool pic. makes a nice wallpaper.
its your phone. exchange it. mine works perfectly.
if your 30 days expires past dec. 11, might want to wait for update in case this solves your problem. but if you cant wait, then you have a legitimate complaint and they should replace it with no problem (in my opinion, of course).
question: are u using the home screen that came with the droid or are you using an app from the market?

It might not be the phone inparticular. I sent the e-mail to myself on my phone and saved the picture just fine. The pictures come out bad when I transfer them from my PC to my Droid through the USB (maybe you can try that yourself and see if you get any bad pictures. Doesn't matter if it's on the SD card or phone itself. And yes I'm using the regular home, I've never went from a different one.
