Hands on Droid X?

I was just wondering if anywhere in the Central New York State are had a demo of the droid X.  I was being told that Verizon was asking people to order this instead of the Incredible (Which I have been trying to get for like a month now).  But with the size increase I am fearing that this is bordering on wayyy too big for a cell phone, and I wanted to see if it would be practical to fit in my pocket and carry around everywhere like I do my Envy.

You can check out this link for an in depth review on size, features etc., or if you are concerned about size and want to go hands on, you can always go into a sprint store and try the EVO 4g for size comparison.  The two phones are virtually the same size.  Both have the same screen size.  The EVO is 1 millimeter wider than the droid x.  The droid x is also slightly larger.  If you really want the incredible though, verizon will begin shipping more today.  Hope this helps.

If you do go with the HTC Evo 4G from Sprint, make sure you have coverage in your area by Sprint. The last thing you want is an absolute best phone to have no service or poor coverage where you are at. You can click the coverage map on Sprint's web site.

Yeaaa I gotta stay with Verizon because I'm part of a family plan, I'll go test it out tho thanks for the idea, and I always wondered why the phones were always so similar lol.

OH! And I forgot I had a quick question, will the Droid X have a FM tuner like the incredible??? Thats a major factor in my quest for a phone.

I dont see anywhere the Droid X having a FM tuner like the Incredible. I have to say I do use the Fm tuner alot on my Incredible I mean I love it. I Had a party yesterday and plugged my Incredible into my speakers and it was awsome. They have apps like pandora and others where you can stream music but I do like having the fm tuner.

Thanks to a nice rep, I just played with the X at my local Verizon Kiosk. Yes, its bigger than my Incredible. The display is nice, but not as bright as the Incredibles. The phone felt pretty comfortable in my hand, and was lighter than I thought it would be. I only held it for a minute - naturally it reminded me of the Moto Droid as far as display screens and general use. Overall I was pretty impressed with it, but I'll happily stay with my Incredible for a few reasons - the smaller but bright, crisp display, the Sense user interface software ( which was the main reason I got the Incredible in the first place) and finally I just think the X is TOO big. Don't get me wrong - if you get this phone, you will probably be very happy with it, its just not my first choice.
