"technically" yes, officially no.  The developers have ported a semi-functioning version but Verizon/Motorola hasn't announced whether they'll be updating it yet.

Be careful what you wish for. I just read  on Andoid news that Gingerbread is easily compromised to allow an intruder access to your personal info, even on the SD card. New is not always better.

That vulnerability is on ALL versions of android.  The attacker has to know the naming format of folders on your sd card to be able to get anything though.

The sooner we get Gingerbread the happier we will all be.  2.2.1 still has a few bugs that make it not work as well as it should.  Concurrent garbage collection should eliminate what I have seen on my phone.
