It used to be very accurate, but over the last few days it will always be in a searching for signal mode or when it finally gets a signal it places me in Southern Mexico when I am in Arizona. It is screwed up with google maps as well as other GPS apps like four square.
I upgraded to 2.1 4 days ago, dont know if it is part of the problem.

do this:
i did this and the gps noted that the accuracy was within +/- 6 meters
