Can someone tell me how to transfer my contacts from Gmail to my Droid X phone.
I'm having a real issue with that.

All you usually have to do is setup you gmail account and contacts usually restores after log in...

Also, go to settings, accounts, and select your gmail account. From there, make sure that "sync contacts" is checked. I think that this is usually checked by default, but I've heard of that not being the case, oddly enough.

Importing contacts from a comma separated values (*.csv) / vCard file - Gmail

- From a computer, launch an Internet browser then navigate to the Gmail website.
- Sign in with the Gmail account username and password.
- Click Contacts.
- Click More actions.
- Click Import.
- Click Choose File / Browse.
- Select the desired .CSV / vCard file then click Choose / Open.
- Click Import.
- Click OK.
