I just upgraded to a Droid X2 from my Droid X. The new phone has the latest update 2.3.4 and system 1.3.380.MB870.
On my Droid X, I could get full use of either PPTP with encryption and L2TP VPNs. The new Droid X2 will not connect at all with L2TP. PPTP will connect, but will only work with encryption disabled. If PPTP encryption is enabled, no data will be received.
I have noticed several other comments similar in nature on other boards, but no useful solutions to this problem. I would appreciate any help in resolving this issue. I travel worldwide and need this capability.
