Email problem need help ASAP..cause I'm annoyed

Member

I am using the gmail on the droid 2 by motorola and it really isn't that big of a deal but I am a little annoyed and OCD about it lol. Anyway the problem I am having is that when I go to compose a email for instance the email could be "ilovemusic@gmail.com" but when i go to compose it that email and "iloemusic@gmail.com" both pop up because I misspelled it one other time. I can't seem how to delete it from my gmail and it is not in my user dictionary. If someone could please help that would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!

You can try this:

Settings>Applications>Manage Applications

find and then touch Gmail

Hit the "Clear Cache" button.

You might want to also check your Contacts. I have noticed gmail can save auto-gmail contacts. If you had sent a email with the misspelled address, it might be saved there.

I don't have the Droid 2 so I am unsure of the steps.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
