Email client for Droid similar to Blackberry

The only downfall so far in changing from Blackberry to Android is the email.  I download multi emails on my phone for both work and personal.  I liked the option on my Blackberry Bold to be able to Delete from Phone or Delete from Server.  With the Android, when I delete from phone, the emails are still in my inbox.  This doesn't allow me to clean up the "junk" emails from my phone and I find myself doing double duty.

I have tried to google for a program similar to Blackberry email that gives me the option to chose to delete message from phone or delete from server for each individual email.  Does this exist on Droid.  If not, is there a way they you can move to a folder that you could then delete all those emails with one strock on the server rather than having to go in and read back through each email.

Thanks

Yes, there are settings but will depend on the type of email account you have. For gmail, once I erase emails from my phone they will not show up in my inbox on my computer after it syncs every few minutes. If you have gmail you can change the deleted items to sync by selecting going to your  gmail inbox in your phone, select menu --> Settings --> Labels -->Deleted Items Sync All.

If you have a different email provider, please let us know and we will confirm if the option is available.

Thanks,

It is work email through a university system.  I also personally use windstream.net as my home email.  I loved the option to DELETE FROM PHONE or DELETE FROM PHONE AND SERVER with my Blackberry.  Kept email from being so overwhelming.

If you set up the email in an imap configuration, you will be able to delete from the server. Check with the university and windstream to find out what ports you need to set to get your phone email to work.
