Droid charge stopped charging

My Samsung droid charge that ive had since april has stopped charging and I have bought a new charger thinking that was it.  It is the port. Is there any place I can get it fixed or a Verizon place help fix it?

mine stopped charging from the car and I had to get a special car charger that works with both wall and car.  It works but the dang phone won't hold a charge for long...getting frustrating.

I once had a battery that, all of a sudden, would not hold a charge for very long.  It was an easy fix.  I bought a new battery and everything was again okay.  You may have a bad battery.

Are you absolutely positively sure it's the port. 

Your problem could also be a bad or dying battery.  Maybe you should try a new battery first.

it's the battery. this is the second time in less than a year i have sent my Charge back to get a replacement. WHy do the battery ports mess up so easily and why do the batteries not last before having to buy a new one! it;s been a week and i am still waiting for my replacement battery.
