Droid X will not connect to computer
Therealwillett
When I connect my droid x to the computer it says there is no sd card and I cannot access any files on my phone. When I unplug the phone I can then access all the files on it, I am trying to just simply transfer pics to the computer, I know I can send them via email but I want to have my computer recognize the device or the device recognize the computer. Any IDEAS?

That is how the phone works, when the device is plugged into a pc and is in Mass Storsge mode you can not access it on the phone because if you look under the Computer directory you will see a SD Card listed...  This is you sd card and you can browse the card from there and copy or move anything you want.

Sorry for the non-message, that's what happens when you try a new Mircosoft item. What Wildman told you was correct. When you connect the Droid to your computer, the SD card becomes invisible to the Droid but not to the computer. The computer sees the SD card as another external drive and will give it a letter. Just open up your computer and you will see a new letter, for example, E:. Then you can just click and drag files from your computer to your Droid and visa versa.
