WOW this battery rocks.. so lets see my stock battery gave me around 7 hrs of use. Checking myspace, facebook, cnn, foxnews, latitude, browsing, texting all DAY on LOW brightness. I was bored and I typed "Droid x extended battery" and founf it on the website for 50 dllrs free ship. Ordered it. Its NICE. I SWEAR I get around 12 hours of continued use on max bright and same as before, I charged this baby up at 2:30pm(full charge) and at 3 AM im at 30% charge and thats when I start charging it... Im really impressed... Highly recommended for people carrying around those annoying portable chargers.

Thanks for the heads up! Thats great to hear, I thought the extra 250 mAH "or 16% more capacitance" would only make it last 16% longer. I suppose if the cells are a higher quality it will add even more life. How much longer is the phone lasting in general?

Today i did not use it as much. Right now its 4am and im at 60% battery. I took it off the charger yesterday at 230pm. I used it lightly because of work. Got home and turned wifi on to check a few apps and lefy wifi on. I do believe the cells are of much higher quality. I don't have to worry about leaving work after an 8 hr shift with a dead battery anymore.

I forgot to mention that even tho it comes with a 1mm bigger cover. The stock original battery cover fits. So your phone does not get any fatter.

Where does the extra size go?

Where is this extended battery found? Verizon's website or somewhere else? There is an aftermarket
site, "seiddo", or something like that who is offering an extended battery. But I'm a little leary of aftermarket batteries.
Thanx, Geri O
