I have noticed on the lower portion of the screen that houses the home, menu, return, and magnify functions, it lights up sometimes. Is this a malfunction or is it operating as designed? Is there a setting that I need adjust? Please advise.. Thanks:
it shouldn't do that randomly, while the phone is not in use. but if you are talking about while your using the phone, then i believe yes, it is supposed to light up when you do certain things. i've noticed it a few times.
it lights up if the ambient light is below a certain point and you are using the buttons so you can see them.
