My Droid Incredible 2 will not charge even when plugged in overnight. I know it is not a battery or charger issue because I traded with my sister who has the same phone. Both my battery and charger work fine with her phone. I have seen other posts about Incredible 2 having this issue. Can someone please help?!

Hello pascualine! That sounds frustrating! Allow me to help. Please let the phone battery completely drain, then plug in wall charger and let charge until completely full. Again, the battery must be completely drained prior to recharging. I would also suggest charging with the phone powered off. Let me know how this works out for you. Thanks! ^AT

Dear Verizon Wireless Customer Support:
I am seeing this issue all over the web for the past several months. It is an issue with the charging port, most likely. I am having the same issue, and will be headed to Verizon for a new phone. Frankly, I would prefer to get a different phone, since this seems to be a known issue.

I was told by a verizon rep that my phone, which is a year old, was not covered under warranty. Why are we paying 6.95 a month for insurance when we have to pay 100 dollar deductable and the things that are not covered under warranty are always the things that break. I have been able to take the charger and clip it to the phone and the way you position it into the port makes it hold in there an charge. Hope that helps...I have to pay 100 dollars or just wait until January when my contract renews.

My phone just started doing the same thing. This is the 2nd one I had that this happened to. I've only had this one for 6months. It's been over a year since I originally got the phone so the warranty is over. So I can't get it replaced and I can't upgrade till Feb. Now I gotta buy a new phone. I'm getting a prepaid and when my contract is up I'm done with Verizon. Paying over $100 a month when I can get a prepaid and get unlimited everything for $55 a month.

If you had gotten Total Equipment Coverage, you would be under warranty for another year.

I just got an external battery charger on amazon. It comes with 2 spare batteries. So you can always go that route if you can't charge your battery. Atleast I won't have to get a new phone now.
