Sorry; I missed that in your original post.  Something still sounds out of whack; I've never had my Bionic drop battery level 40% in two hours.

Are you in a solid 4G area? Have you Disabled NewBayService (this is Backup Assistant)? If you are in a solid 4G area, and have Newbay turned off, I would suggest a new battery as well. If you are in a 3 g area or intermittent 4G area, then it is very possible that your phone is network hunting (switching from 3-4g and back all day long).
