Try V Cast Media Manager, which can be downloaded from the Verizon website.

stay away from vcast, its a horrible program

go to samsungs website get the drivers for your phone

install them

plug phone in with usb cable

it should be recognized as a removable drive

open that drive

look for(or create if needed) a directory called /media/pictures

copy them there

if you take pics with your phone they will be in a directory called dcim

Congratulations on your new phone!

There a few ways to transfer pictures from your computer to your Charge.

1.) See page 82 in the User Manual

Transferring files using the Mass Storage USB setting

1. From the Home screen, press the Menu Key, then touch Settings > USB Settings > Mass Storage.

2. Attach your phone to the computer with a USB cable. Your phone recognizes the connection and displays USB connected in the Status Bar and Notifications Panel.

3. Display the Notifications Panel, then touch USB connected. At the prompt, touch Connect USB storage to enable copying of files between your computer and the memory card.

4. At the prompt on the computer, select a transfer method.

5. Transfer files to the memory card. When finished, you can disconnect the USB cable

2.) You can use VCast Media Manager The V CAST Media Manager service is designed to help you protect, manage, play and share their media (pictures, videos, music and documents) from virtually anywhere. The service includes an online storage account, mobile app, desktop app, and web app. The desktop app can be downloaded as a standalone application as opposed to being a part of the service; in this configuration the desktop app can be used for local media management and playback.

3.) If you have a memory card reader, you can place your memory card in there. Once you have it inserted in your computer, go to your computer where the pictures are saved. You can drag photos from your computer back onto this removable drive anywhere you please.  Just open up the drive letter and copy or drag the photos you want to have saved on your memory card.

I hope one of these options work for you.

I do a lot of photography and the great screen res of the Charge helped to make my decision easy.  So I'm constantly copying images back and forth between my computer and the phone.

What I do that works is connect the phone to the computer with the mini usb to usb cable.  Windows 7 immediately recoginzes the phone as a generic USB device.  I then launch two Explorer Windows, one where the pix are located on my computer's hd and the other under DCIM from the folder list on the phone.  (the Charge is listed as a Removeable Disk with a drive letter under the file tree structure)  Either create a new folder or open an existing one on the phone and simply drag & drop images between the two devices.  You can also edit or drag & drop within folders on your phone.
