Does this phone tick off anybody else?

Ever since the first day I got this phone, all it has been is trouble. This is probably the worst purchase I have ever made in my life. This "smart phone" is maybe "smart" for a 3rd grader. My env3 worked better and faster than this worthless thing. Dear Android, hope you're happy that you lost another customer.

Hi NickAmadik!

Goodness, what's going on with your phone? I'd be more than happy to help! Are you getting slow speeds in all different areas or in a specific area? What zip code are you in? Please clear the cache on the phone: http://bit.ly/R8v8w3 Then, remove the battery from the phone, reattach, power on, then monitor the device. Let me know how that works for you!

I am not very pleased with mine.  For a year it was great. Gradually slowed down and had problems.  I received a replacement for it through warranty - but the replacement was defective. Don't they check things out before they send out "refurbished" phones? I don't actually know if it is Verizon's fault, but I am blaming them.  My neice has the same phone and has quite a few problems with it.

After a year, the touch screen was "strange," if I did not clear the screen after hanging up from a call, the phone would stard dialiing numbers - and hang up on the person as soon as it was answered.  The phone would shut off and turn itself on - sometimes - other times I had to turn it back on.  The screen would get blurry. - and more.

I don't know if I want another smart phone.  I can get a tablet and use a "regular" cell.  Lest costly that way.

Can't stand my DroidX either... can't wait to get rid of it!  Reboots itself constantly... battery lasts about 10 hours at most.. and that's with nothing being used - just sitting on the counter.  Wish I'd never switched from T-Mobile to Verizon.. hate their "customer support" since there is none to speak of.  Went to three different Verizon stores and asked the same question in each store... got three totally different answers, none of which solved my problem.

I just posted about my Droid X2.  I am on my 2nd device this one being a refurbished phone sent to me as a replacement for the original one.  This one recently dialed my husband 32 times while he was at work.  He was not very pleased, let me just say that!  It stutters, it hiccups, it turns itself off and can't be turned back on until you remove the battery and reinsert it.  These are just a few of the problems I've had since getting the device.  I've been a Verizon customer for 18 years, my husband for 17 years.  We also have Verizon internet service.  I recently contacted Verizon regardig an attempt to early upgrade in order to get rid of the phone.  My upgrade date is 4/22/13.  Verizon REFUSES to let me upgrade even after I threatened to terminate all services.  They offered me 3 phones that were not the phone I want to upgrade to.  The supervisor told me over and over again that she understood my  frustration but I had signed a contract for 2 years and they had already moved the update date to April (as they do with any Verizon customer not something done for me personally).  I am serious about terminating my services.

Bought my MOTO Droid X when they first came out used it until the Samsung Nexus came out.  I was not pleased at all with the Samsung Nexus and took the Nexus back to VZW within my 14 days and started using my Droid X(good phone) again.  I continued using it until the Samsung SIII came out and purchased my SIII about 2 weeks after the SIII came out.  I only had one issue with my Droid X which was fixed by clearing the cache.  I now have the Droid X as a backup phone but I am going to go back to a MOTO phone on my next phone which is not to far down the road.  I will keep my SIII as the backup phone because the area where I live now has LTE and the Droid X is not LTE.   I don't do upgrades/contracts with my phone because I have unlimited data and I am not at a point I want to lose the unlimited data.  I did go back to my Droid X a couple weeks ago as my son wanted to try out the SIII for a couple of weeks to see if he wanted to purchase one for his replacement phone.  The one issue stated above is the only issue with the Droid X I ever experienced.  The times I have gone back to it, it has always performed as advertised.  Sorry to hear about everyones problems with Their Droid X's.

I had no problems with my DroidX2 for the first 14 months I owned it. Then the trouble started with random reboots, freezes and apps failing to open. The final kicker started about a month ago when the battery started to overheat, I mean the phone became too hot to handle and now won't hold a charge. My upgrade comes in 9 days and believe me I will never own another Motorola phone. I am anti-Apple so I won't be getting an iPhone either. The folks at Verzion have been pleasant but not particuliarly informed or helpful but they are better than the folks at either Sprint or AT&T where I had previously done business.
