DROID Incredible 2 by HTC died in the middle of Upgrade

I was in the meddle of upgrading software and phone just froze. Any attempt to restart the phone just wait in vain.

This is very frustrating and response from a Verizon Store person "Dude your phone is fried" was no help.

I am not sure what my options are and I am planning to call Customer Service first thing in the morning.

Need guidance.
