Constant reboot even after safe mode & fac reset... I Give Up!! I just want my photos!

I give up!  I no longer believe this Droid is going to be of any use to me.  I did a factory reset and even run it on safe mode for a week.  It work for a while then started shutting off again.  At this point, the phone constantly reboots like a broken record.  I can't even get the phone to the home screen to take the photos off of it.  Anyone know how to get photos off without turning the phone on?  Nope, the photos were not conveniently saved to a microSD, the photos are saved on the phone; I removed the card after the factory reset thinking I was going to place a new card in soon, but the phone didn't last long enough for me to get a new card.  Thanks!

How did you do a factory reset and still have photos that are important? I'm guessing you didnt do a factory reset?

You need to turn on the phone in order to get the photos off, you can plug it up to a computer or use astro file manager..

you say after a reset it works for a while then starts again.. try taking out your sd card, and creating a new gmail account and see if you have the same problem. It sounds like you either didnt do a reset or there are apps coming back from your sd card/gmail that are causing problems. Usually Advanced task killer

The incredible is partitioned so if you do a factory reset without formatting the internal partition the photos will still be there.

jam34jam,

I know this is so frustrating! I, too, have very important pictures on my phone. The community has been great with tips. If you can get the device to stay on, the Astro File Manager is a great tool to move those pictures from the internal storage to the SD card. You can also use the USB cable (mass storage mode) connected to a computer and remove the files safely that way. I can be of assistance if these methods fail, please advise if you are able to successfully move your pictures.

Thank you!
