I have a Droid X with a car dock and for the first couple of month's the dock stayed suctioned into it's disc. Recently, the dock has not been staying on the disc, it will stick for a few minutes when I place it on the disc and push the lever down, but will stop adhering in 5 - 10 minutes. Any ideas? Not sure what I'm doing wrong...

Try cleaning the parts that go together?
Or if it lives on the dash, the exposure to the sun has deformed the parts to the point or joining together poorly....
Just a guess....

I find that this works for my dock and even my radar detector.....a little good ole spit. Seriously. However, heat does cause the suction cup(s) to expand and lose their grip. I rarely notice a loss of suction in the winter time.

A little bit of moisture does help it hold or as a last resort you can be like me and throw some super glue on it.. It haven't came down since.. .

Super glue is an excellent idea. The man even knows glue!
