Has anyone came a crossed an issue where you couldn't send email from you DroidX using Clearwire? I spoke to clearwire and my phone is set up properly but yet it still won't send so they stated that it must be my phone., I can receive emails without issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You have to be connected to clearwires network. It's similar to what Timewarner cable does.

is it pop-3 email, with pop & smtp servers or do you go to the clearwire website for email.
if pop-3, the smtp server address may be wrong.
in login, for the account, pop & server accounts, only need login, not @xxxx.clearwire
fwiw:
when i use my pop-3 cox website for email, even on my pc or a public pc, it's agonizingly slow, with way too many hoops to make it worthwhile so i just look to see what's there.

Outgoing is smtp. It is set up as smpt.gmail.com which is the way that Clear stated it should be.

Smtp or smpt? Or was it just a typo?
