I set up my Charge to get email from my Cox email account with no problem. Now I want to set this up on my wife's Charge and I can't find the detailed settings on my phone to be able to duplicate them on her phone for her email. If I go to the email account and pick Account Settings, it shows my Account name, Email check frequency, Default account, but I can't find where I can see the detailed settings I entered such as the pop3 and smtp settings and port settings. There has got to be a way to get to this otherwise how would you make edits if it was set up incorrectly. Does anyone know how to get into these deeper email settings?

Davidoo,
Good afternoon!
I've got some steps to give you in order to set up the cox.net email correctly on your wife's phone! First, please remove email account. I have you do this because once provisioned on the phone, there is no way to reach the manual set up. Once removed, you will go back into Email>Others>Enter email and password>Tap MANUAL SET UP (not next)>POP3 account. After this step, you'll be take to the area to manually enter the cox.net email settings. Below I've included the Cox settings based off your profile location of Arizona.
Incoming Settings:
Username: Would be the first part of your email (ie: email: example@cox.net, username: example)
POP3 Server: pop.west.cox.net
Port: 995
Security Type: None
Outgoing Settings:
SMTP Setting: smtp.west.cox.net
Port: 587
Security Type: None
This will require sign-in.
I hope this information help provision that Cox email properly!
Have a great day!

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Dear Davidoo,
I assume you are using the native email app that came with the phone. Are there any accounts associated with the app right now? You should be able to add a POP3 or IMAP account from the settings by pressing "Add Account" (I think this is right), then entering the email address and password. From there press "Manual Setup" and that should take you to the settings page your are looking for.
Does that work for you, or are you seeing something different? if so, what are you seeing??

Thanks for the responses. Yes I am using the native email app.
I know there is a manual setup to add a new email account as that is what I used for this one. However, how do you get into the manual settings for one that is already set up? Once the setup is done I don't see a way to get into the pop, smtp and port settings to see what you have.

I am not sure, since on my Charge you can access these settings even after the email account is set up. I don't know why you can't on your Charge, so I was suggesting a fresh start with a new email account. This should show you the settings.

Thanks Adam, that worked just fine. After spending some time on this I did come to realize once it is set up there is no way to go back in and look at what you put in.
