I can't add anything at all to my calendar. If I press the menu key, then press New Event: nothing happens...it go right back to the calendar view. If I long press on a day, a window comes up, I press New Event: nothing happens...it goes right back to the calendar view. I've tried turning the phone off and back on...no change. Any ideas?
Are you able to add new calendar entries from google and have then sync to your phone? If you have already set up your google calendar sync, try canceling that and then redoing it.
I haven't had a problem using the following
Open calendar in the month view
Go to the date you want the event
Touch the day and then menu
Touch add new event
The screen should change to a text entry and event description, time, place, etc
Enter data and then save I forget to touch the save sometimes and you have to start over.
I don't have a calendar setup in Google.
I can get to the "add new event". It just doesn't do anything. Hitting that command doesn't change the screen, it just goes right back to the calendar view.
