Call ends immediately, unable to receive calls, no internet service since GB Update

Hello everyone,

Ever since the OTA Gingerbread update I have had this problem where whenever I try to call someone the call would immediately end. In addition, I would not be able to receive any calls as it would just send the caller to my voicemail. I also get problems with obtaining internet where it would say I am not connected to the internet when I was using 3G or my WiFi. Occasionally I would get a random reboot once in  awhile but it isn't the main problem that is bothering me. The only temporary solution I have found to fixing this is to restart my phone. I have searched the forums for any solutions to this problem and I have had no luck (Unless I am blind). If there is any solution that I may have missed or that anyone can provide please reply with any sort of help. If there is anything further questions that needs clarification please ask. I hope that I can get this problem fixed. I hope you understand.

Ok my Question to you would be did you do "A" factory  reset before or after installing Gingerbred or did you just install it on top of fro-yo.

if so you need to do a factorie reset  to clear some of the cob webs that came with the old OS an the apps you have may Need to be updated to work with gingerbred doing a factorie reset would clear them out.

if you have payed apps they'll be restored once you relog into Google your others you need to write them down. then find them in the market an reload them.

Now for your music, pictures , an other files they'll will be on you Sd card an will be saved but Don't format the Card or you'll say good by to them.

But if you have done factorie reset already you could try one other thing an its called a System cache Clear an that can help your phone aswell. But if you have done neither it needs to be done.  Ra

A rumor of help on the way.

My wife now has an X2 because of the problems that she had with her X after theGingerbread update; unable to make calls or send texts.  The only solution to the X's inability to make calls was to try a call and then reboot if it immediately ended with a call length of 00:00.  Not good and especially not good in an emergency situation.  No amount of factory resets, cache clears, or SD card reformats would fix her problem.  They were only a temporary relief.
