Build Number

Anyone notice a difference in their build number on GB in the last couple of days? Mine is now 4.5.1_57_DX5-26.

Yes, the build number seems to be different. Should have written it down.

I saw your reply to my post on the Moto forum. I didn't record my build number before.....but my DX is acting subtly different. The Social Widget (BLUR) is working much smoother  Last night, the Social Widget was very wonky and stuttered when scrolling and kept bringing up the same updates over and over. After I downloaded Android 2.3, my hardware button remained lit (brightly) all night long when I put my DX in the night dock. Last night, the hardware buttons only remained lit for about 5 seconds after I placed the phone in the night dock, which was the way it was with 2.2.

I had started looking because my Weather Bug kept reporting a network error and that was new. I cleared the cache partition and it is working normally. Several of my co-workers have Xs, so I will ask Monday if they have noticed any changes.

Now that you bring this up I noticed that a few of my apps has been acting a little strange but I tried to chalk it to me using my device so much and haven't restarted the device. I wonder if this could be the item that changed, I have a number of screen shots with the system info I will have to compare the number when I get him..

My system version is ....... 4.5.596.MB810Verizon.en.US

I actually just logged into my network and pulled the files and the build number is the same even on the 4.5.595 build so there nothing different but I learned I was due for a cache cleaning and after I ran that all went back to runner perfect.

All good on the front here for me again

So I would say the "weirdness" indicates a need for a cache clean.
