My boss recently purchased a Moto Droid and we are experiencing some issues with it. The phone syncs with Outlook 2007 and also the Gmail account. We do not have an email server on site. He has to delete emails at all three locations, Gmail, PC and the Phone for it to actually be deleted. Does anyone know of a fix for this?
He is also experiencing some challenges with the calendar. It is making double entries for every appointment. Does someone know of a fix for this also?
Thank you!!

I also have to delete email from PC, Droid, and Gmail. I consider that a good thing since many times I read it on the Droid, but don't deal with it until I'm back to my computer. I think the redundancy is good.

Depends on how you access GMAIL, IMAP or POP. IMAP will leave the original on the GMAIL server, POP gives you the option of deleting the original.

Try these steps.
1. Sign into gmail
2. Click Settings (top right corner)
3. Click the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab
4. In the POP Download section Option 2.
5. The drop down in Option 2 will have the settings that you're looking for.
This will work for gmail and the phone.
Still looking for settings with Outlook.
