Bogus 2.2 frg22 update??

Has anyone tried any of the supposed manual ways to update there phones? You know put "update file in root of SD card and do the power x routine) have you had any issues, you know with (Trojans and bogus updates...)

There are some bad ones. Just stick to well known sites and read post.

I went with a reputable download, one that gives you a link to grab it directly off the Google servers.
That update was uneventful and only took about 2 minutes.
To be honest I don't really see much of a difference other than Flash showing up in Market...

Coz that was all the update was for... to make Flash show up on the market.

I thought FRG22D was supposed to also include other fixes, like ActiveSync & security enhancements, plus plugging the one-click root exploit, among other things.

The improvements for the Motorola Droid with the FRG22D update include the following:

- After installing the software update search for, download, and install "Flash Player 10.1" from Market.
