Backup assistant not working. sync says success but no data transfered

I enabled backup assistant, entered my pin and performed a sync.  The sync says successful and the scheduled sync says successful every day.  But there are not contacts listed when I access the MyVerizon Site.

 

Should this be working on the DINC?

The HTC Droid Incredible is Backup Assistant Capable; however, there is a known issue. If you have been updated to the new Backup Assistant 4.0 website you may not see your contacts the first time you login via the website. This happens because the data has not been refreshed from the server. I recommend log out of your backup assistant site and login again. Let me know if this works. :smileyhappy:

I do have the new website (it's terrible by the way.  Didn't work at all the first week.  It's much more difficult to navigate and it fails much more often then the old site.  Is it possible to convert back to the old site?)

 

No contacts are still empty even after logging off and back on.  I have accessed from three different computers as well and no contacts.  Looks like another problem with the new myverizon update.

 

How can I disable the Verizon Backup app not that I have enabled it.  It's performing backups ever day that don't work.  I really don't want to keep this app running every day even if it does start working.  Google contacts is a more reliable backup.
