Hey I'm new to the Droid X, but my last phone (blackberry storm) had a feature where I scheduled it to shut off at 11Pm and it automatically turned it's self off at 11 and then back on at 5am... Anyone know if I can do the same thing with the droid? Thanks! Also, Just curious what are the top must have apps for a new to droid user or your favorite apps? I know it shows me, but I'm curious what works and such... Thanks!
I haven't found a setting for Auto shut off. As far as apps go, the first one I made sure to get was Advanced Task Killer (by Rechild). I have found it invaluable when it comes to killing the pre-loaded apps that keep opening.
I don't have my DROID X yet (in 2 weeks) ... but there seems to be a lot of discussion going on as far as Adv. Task Killer -- both Pros and Cons .... I'm leaning towards 1 of the other APPS to disable some things like CityID, etc. Do some searches here and on the Motorola Forum about ATK .... YMMV
