If I am not getting static the audio player will do one of two things:
1. Stop playing music and exit app.
2. Turn on album shuffle mode and hit next.
Trying to use this device for the daily commute is beyond frustrating.
I went to a local VZ store.
Even though this is a known issue and a common problem my droid is now out of warranty by a week or so.
My choices were:
Pay money to get it fixed.
Pay money to upgrade phone.
You would think that they would try and help me out.
Time to downgrade my plan and phone to my old backup.
Time to loose $100 dollars a month from one frustrated customer VZ.
I use headphones on my daily train commute.
I did some research and the early model droids had issues with the audio jack.
I got my droid the first week it came out.
I am now regreting not trying to get this fixed before the warranty ran out a few weeks ago.
