If an Antivirus Free application is installed on Google Android devices, it can cause one or more of the following symptoms:
- Random panel movement
- Activation of Notification Panel
- Slow or erratic display updates
- Displaying incorrect customer names on the lock screen

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I run Lookout and the AVG, with none of those symptoms.
Each time I download something or connect/disconnedc from a PC, both do a little scan to see if everything is good. I THINK they are doing what is needed, but I guess there's no way to tell, except to shut them off and wait for something to go wrong...

AVG free seems to work very well on my HTC Inc. It also works very well on my 2 laptops and a Heinz 57 desktop. So, what was the intrepid employees recommendation? I must have missed it.

I've downloaded the AVG anti virus and haven't had any defects...
