I feel like an idiot, but when I hook up my Charge to my laptop via the included USB cable, if it is there longer than 2 minutes, a loud alarm goes off and won't stop until I physically force the phone to shut down. I've done this with other phones and never had this reaction. Am I doing something wrong???

Morning, ErikaLaDawn!
Well this is one I have not heard of! Congratulations! 🙂
I do have a few questions for you. Does anything display on the screen when the alarm goes off, phone or computer? I assume the alarm is coming from the phone? Was the force shut down just a battery pull on the phone? I can only suggest a master reset. Go to Settings>Privacy>Factory Data Reset>Reset Phone>Erase Everything. After the phone reboots, it will have an on-screen activation set up. Please backup your info via Google and/or SD card before the master reset.
Please reply back if the issue persists.
Thank you!
