When I set my alarm, it doesn't ring at the time it is set; it doesn't ring at all. The phone flashes and it will snooze, but it does not make a sound. The phone rings when the ringer is selected. The silent mode setting is off, etc. Anyone have a fix?

Try this, MoeBHick
1) Open the clock app.
2) Select the Timer.
3) Tap the "Alert sound" button.
4) Click the volume rocker -up- a couple of times.
5) Tap the "Snooze" sound.
Let me know if this works for you!

Clock = Alarm & Timer
Timer
no alert sound button, shows hours and minutes of timer with + and -
settings has 'Sound, Vibrate, Volume and Backup Alarm'
no snooze sound button
So it didn't work.

Unchecking the volume (use increasing volume) button worked for me! Wow, I hope Motorola is reading these and making corrections.
The low volume seems to be due to the speaker being on the back of the phone. It rings softly, but when you pick it up the sound increases significantly. If I lay the phone face down the alarm ring volume is fine.
Thanks!!

The ring volume also ramps up slowly as the alarm goes off
it starts quieter and gets louder..er..
And yeah, keep it face down for better volume because the speaker on the bottom
