2.2 and random phone calls when phone is locked and not near a magnet

When my phone is locked, sitting on a desk, it will suddenly call someone.  It could be anyone from my list, so not the last number dialed or something like that.  When I disconnect the call, it immediately returns to lock.  It is not them calling me, I am definitely ringing them.  Since 2.2, I've had a lot of other issues.  My two email accounts were mixing up emails (I was sending out my bank balance to customers!).  Hard reboot fixed that.  I can't open my outlook inbox.  I would like to remove 2.2 and keep with 2.1.

At this time there is no option to remove a software upgrade. Once you have selected to upgrade any change in software from what is released from Verizon will void your warranty. To fix your outlook email problem I would suggest deleting then re-adding the account. The steps to do this are listed below:


 

  • Menu
  • Settings
  • Accounts
  • Click on the Account 
  • Then Remove account

  • Once you have done this Go to Menu
  • Settings
  • Accounts
  • Menu
  • Add Account
  • Then choose what kind of account and enter your information
This should resolve all of your email problems.
