I received the 2.2 update on my Droid on Aug 10 around midnight or so but I do not have flash player is that to follow or should it have come with the update?
You can either download the latest flash beta from Adobe's web site, or you can wait for the official release on August 18th where flash will be available for download in the Android Market.
Froyo (Android 2.2) itself only comes 'Flash Ready'.

Didn't want to wait for Verizon to push the update to me so I downloaded it myself directly from the Android site.
Visit this website on your Motorola Droid and follow the instructions carefully.
