Mifi2200 works with all platforms but iMac with OSX 10.7.5

I have a Mifi2200 hot spot which is already setup and I've been using for 2plus yrs. My work PC (Win7), my iphone (OS6) and iPad all work seamlessly with my Mifi2200 but my iMac will not.  My wi-fi network preferences says it's connected but no internet available when I go to access from Safari.  It finds the Mifi IP address with DHCP.   I don't remember providing the Mifi2200 password from the mac and it isn't asking.  Can anyone help?  Power is out here and I need to use this platform.

The Mifi Password is usually the DEC Number unless it was changed. Should begin with 0911, you might want to remove and readd the network in system preference
