I currently have 2 - Samsung 4G devices in my home and live in a 3G only area. Yesterday afternoon my 3G signal switched to a 4G signal and stayed this way until around 9pm Est last night before flipping back to 3G only. Can anybody tell me why I would have 4G for several hours yesterday and then all the sudden go back to 3G?
I can confirm 100% it was 4G service - In addition to validating the signal on my config page I was able to test speed and latency which was amazing!!!!! Average 14m down and 2m up - Latency was between 65-75ms.
Was this just a fluctuation of the signal? Or can I assume they are testing it in my area and we should be 4G soon???? Currently 4G is served roughly 8 miles away.
Thanks!
My location is Charlotte Hall, Md

I suspect your area will go LIVE next month. When testing the system, if you have the LTE option on, you will see occasional signs of 4G life.
